Why Our Delivery Charges Are Fair, Transparent – And Great Value

We’re proud to be based in Kent, where delivery is always free for our local customers. However, as a timber building company with nearly 50 years of experience, we’re delighted to have customers all across the UK. And while we’re always happy to go the distance (literally!), we want to be upfront about why we do charge for delivery outside of Kent – and why we believe it offers real value.

What’s Included in Our Delivery Fee?

Our delivery fee isn’t just a fuel surcharge. It covers: 

  • Fuel and transport costs
  • Labour for two of our skilled team members
    (They’re on the clock from the moment they leave – sometimes as early as 11:30pm the night before if they are heading up to Scotland) 
  • Overnight accommodation where needed for very long-distance deliveries
  • Safe, professional delivery by people who know how to handle your building properly
  • No hidden extras – ever

We Try to Save You Money Where We Can

If we have multiple deliveries in the same area, we’ll reduce your delivery fee – yes, really. We do our best to double-up jobs where possible and pass that saving straight to you.
